Directions to JCDSS from Asheville:

·         Follow I 40 West to Exit 27, which is Clyde, Waynesville, 19/23 exit.

·         Stay on 19/23, which is a four-lane highway, for approximately 21.5 miles.

·         Take exit 85, which is the East Sylva, Cullowhee, WCU exit.

·         Travel straight to the T-intersection at Highway 107

·         Turn LEFT onto Highway 107 (going towards WCU and SCC)

·         At 4^th traffic light, Turn RIGHT onto Highway 116.  Smoky Mountain High School is on the left at this light, and there is an Ingles Store and a State Employees Credit Union on the right.

·         Drive about 1/8 mile and the Jackson County Dept. of Social Services is located on

the RIGHT hand side of the road across from the Department of Transportation.

·         Park in the front parking lot and proceed to the receptionist.

Directions from West/South of Sylva:

·         Take Highway 74 from Murphy, Andrews, Nantahala, Robbinsville, or Bryson City to the LAST Sylva Exit (Exit 85).  This is also the exit for Harris Regional Hospital, WCU and Southwestern Community College.

·         Travel to the T-intersection at Highway 107

·         Turn LEFT onto Highway 107 (going towards WCU and SCC)

·         At the 4^th Traffic Light (at Highway 116 intersection) you will turn RIGHT onto Hwy 116.  Smoky Mountain High School is on the left at this light, and there is an Ingles Store and a State Employees Credit Union on the right.

·         Drive about 1/8 mile and the Jackson County Dept. of Social Services is located on the RIGHT hand side of the road across from the Department of Transportation.

Directions from Highlands, Franklin and Hayesville:

·         Travel 441 North, past Dillsboro, and get onto Highway 74 (towards Waynesville and Asheville).

·         Get off at the second exit for Sylva (Exit 85).

·         Travel to the T-intersection at Highway 107.

·         Turn LEFT onto Highway 107 (going towards WCU and SCC).

·         At the 4^th Traffic light (at Highway 116 intersection) you will turn RIGHT onto Hwy 116.  Smoky Mountain High School is on the left at this light, and there is an Ingles Store and a State Employees Credit Union on the right.

Directions from Cullowhee, Little Canada and Cashiers:

·         Take Highway 107 North into Sylva.

·         At the first Traffic intersection (Hwy. 116), turn LEFT.  Smoky Mountain High School is on the right at this light, and there is an Ingles Store and a State Employees Credit Union on the left.

·         Drive about 1/8 mile and the Jackson County Dept. of Social Services is located on the RIGHT hand side of the road across from the Department of Transportation.

·         Park in the front parking lot and proceed to the receptionist.
