Low Income Energy Assistance Program
The Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) provides a one-time annual payment to help eligible families pay their heating expenses. Payments are made to businesses that supply fuel, electricity, or wood for LIEAP customers.
Households whose incomes are equal to or less than 130% of the current poverty level may apply for assistance as long as funds are available.
