Medicaid & Health Choice


Medicaid provides assistance with medical expenses for low-income families with children, disabled adults, and the elderly.

 

North Carolina health Choice (NCHC) for Children provides medical assistance for uninsured children when the family income is at or below 200% of federal poverty level. If you family makes too much money to qualify for Medicaid but too little to afford rising health insurance premiums, you child(ren) may qualify for NCHC.

Special Assistance

Special Assistance provides a monthly payment to help pay the cost of facility placement or in-home care.
